NHS Staff to get the covid-19 vaccine within the week
Send me an email when there is a new post.
It is reported that plans are being made for forefront NHS staff to get the covid-19 vaccine within weeks as the UK government moves to hasten the timetable for a massive rollout.
According to the email sent by the NHS Trust chief to his staff on Sunday, it shows the health service is planning for a national vaccine programme soon.
It is also noted that the Government has presented new laws that would permit the UK to bypass the EU endorsement measure if a protected and compelling hit is prepared before the finish of the post-Brexit change period on December 31.
The move will increase optimism that a ‘game-changing’ vaccine will permit Boris Johnson to loosen up the social limitations which have crippled the nation since March.
In his notice to staff earlier this month, Glen Burley, CEO of George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Warwickshire, wrote: ‘Our Trust, together with NHS organizations nationally, has been advised to be set up to begin a Covid-19 staff vaccine program toward the beginning of December.
‘it is revealed that the Covid-19 vaccine should be accessible this year as NHS staff are the main priority, this should be happening before Christmas’
