The new Governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki has reduced the 24 hours curfew to start from 4pm to 6 am daily starting from Friday 23rd October 2020, this he said will be reviewed after 72 hours.
The Governor has assured the Edo state residents that he is committed to ensuring the safety of live and properties in the state.
This statement he gave through his special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy on Thursday.
He went further to urge the residents of the state to observe the new directives. He also stated that the residents should go about their normal businesses and to return before the curfew begins.
He also advised all the prisoners who escaped from the prisons to return back before the government goes after them.
